Vastu Old school of thought suggests to head towards right corresponding direction on certain day for better luck and making things go well. Vastu forbids going in wrong direction on certain day for instance Vastu considers going towards North on Saturday inauspicious or so. Although not all of us would certainly acquaint with this fact but it is true and hardly have we followed it, apparently they are applicable even in today's world too.
